Art Rendezvous
Each year, Casita Carolina's hosts a week-long Art Rendezvous. Artists arrive on Sunday and tour the town picking out the five sites they will all render. Most are water colorists; other artists attend as well. Each weekday, the artists spend time at one of the sites chosen and work each on their paintings, sculptures, photos, etc. On Saturday morning, artists mat their paintings, prepare sculptures, etc. and Saturday afternoon Casita Carolina's hosts an art show for the town of Bacalar. Live music, food, and drink accompany the show and artists are able to show and sell (if they wish) their work.
