All accomodations share a large lakeside yard for sports, swimming, sunning, and relaxing; two shady palapas; two covered patios with tables and comfortable seating; hammocks and chaise lounges; spacious dock with palapa; kayaks and water toys; plus men's and women's bathrooms-changing rooms. Casita Carolina's is less than three blocks from the town square, Fort of San Felipe, post office, Western Union, restaurants, bar, grocery store, shopping, internet cafes, pharmacy, church, ATM, boat ramp, and long-distance phone services.

Repeat visitors may notice that -- for the first time in nine years -- Casita Carolina has raised its prices. All rates reflect an increase of fifty pesos per room.

Whimsical Blue House

Choose from the three bedrooms, each with private bath, and shared, roofed patios front and rear, spacious living room, fully-equipped kitchen with stove and refrigerator, and tree-shaded porch facing beautiful Laguna Bacalar. Rent one, two, or all three bedrooms. King-size bedroom: $500 pesos a night; queen-size bedroom: $400 pesos a night; double-bed room: $300 pesos a night, including daily maid service.
